The deadline for attendees to claim their 2015 Annual Seminar credit has now passed. TSHP is no longer accepting credit requests for these educational activities. Questions? Contact the TSHP Office.
TSHP is bound by ACPE guidelines which restrict the amount of time TSHP may issue credit for a live event. It is the responsibility of the participant to claim their credit according to the ACPE-provider (TSHP's) designated procedure. TSHP is not responsible for loss of credit for attendees that fail to claim their credit before the posted deadline.
Message from the TSHP President
Over the past several years, the Texas Pharmacy Congress (TSHP is a founding member organization) has been working on creating its “Vision to Enhance Patient Care” document. Included in this statement is the rationale for the recognition of Pharmacists as patient care providers. I want to acknowledge Paul Davis (TSHP) and Joe DaSilva (TPA) for their hard work and dedication in the development of this Vision Statement. The TSHP Board of Directors endorsed the document at its October 18, 2014 meeting.
The 2015 Texas Legislative Session has started – and TSHP is proactively working with the Texas Pharmacy Congress, our lobbyist Brad Shields, and our friends in the state legislature to share this vision and implement the action plan. Our goal is to obtain pharmacist provider status recognition.
Please click here review the Vision Statement and action plan, and share it with colleagues both within and outside of our profession – it serves as an excellent educational resource about the scope and value of the services of both pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
