Student Committees

Annual Seminar
This committee will be in charge of making the plans for the TSHP Annual Seminar.

Communications
This committee will oversee any publications and correspondence needed to update the society on what is going on with the student section. This committee was specifically charged with the following projects: continued implementation of the quarterly student section newsletter; continued development of the student section website; development of a student section e-mail list server; and promotion of student written journal articles to the TSHP Journal.

Member Services
This committee will promote interactions between the school societies and serve as contacts for all the student society members. The committee was specifically charged with the following projects: promotion of TSHP scholarships; promotion of student research grants; continued oversight of the Student Section Residency Project and Student Section Pediatrics Project; and development of the Student Section Internship Project.

Section Development
This committee will be responsible for maintaining the records of the student section and overseeing the development of the mission statement. This subcommittee will also evaluate what the executive committee is doing and determine what we should continue and what can be improved upon. The committee was specifically charged with the following projects: promotion of Pharmacy Lobby Day; promotion of TSHP student membership; and implementation of the Student Section Student Exchange Program.
