Aimee Hammerstrom

School: University of Houston, P4

Upon graduation: After graduation, I plan on doing a PGY1 as well as a PGY2. I am on rotations right now so am learning more about where my interests lie.

In my spare time: I enjoy spending time with my husband, Troy. We both are from San Antonio and went to Texas A&M University, so we are avid Spurs and Aggie fans. We also love running together, being involved at our church, and going out to dinner.

Upon Graduation: I plan on completing a PGY1 residency.

In my spare time: When I'm not studying or working, I am literally running around Houston. I have trained for and completed two Houston marathons; logging over 500 miles of running.

Upon graduation: Upon graduation, I plan on completing my PGY1 and PGY2 with a focus in Cardiology.

In my spare time: In my spare time I enjoy shopping, baking and watching movies!

Joshua Hawver

School: Texas Tech University Health Science Center, P3

Joshua Hawver

Upon Graduation: Interested in completing a residency in either pharmacy management or primary care.

In my spare time: I enjoy spending time with my friends, especially CPFI Friday night potlucks and watching Texas Tech Football games. Also, I am an amateur chef, avid movie watcher and Dr. Pepper connoisseur. (Side note: Dr. Pepper is the de facto official drink of pharmacists, being both invented in Texas and by a pharmacist.)

Upon graduation: I would like to complete a PGY1 Residency.

In my spare time: I enjoy traveling, mountain biking, and playing sports

James Lee

School: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, P3

Upon graduation: Undecided at this point. I either plan to pursue a PGY1 residency and/or pursue graduate education. My long term interests are ambulatory care, health care policy and utilization and epidemiology. At any rate, I plan to utilize clinical pharmacy within whatever practice setting I might find myself in.

In my spare time: What every other student does - eat, sleep, watch TV and/or hang out with others.

Danijela Stojanovic

School: University of Texas, P3

Upon graduation: I am still narrowing down my choices.

In my spare time: I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoor activities, travel, and astronomy.

Bonnie Whittington

School: University of Texas, P3

Upon graduation: My goals is to complete a PGY1 residency, and possibly obtain a PGY2 residency in a specialty I am interested in. Ultimately, I would like to practice in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.

In my spare time: My husband and I enjoy visiting our families, spending time with friends, and attempting to play sports together, such as tennis, golf, and swimming. I also enjoy reading, cooking, taking pictures, drawing, and learning to play the piano.

Upon graduation: I would like to complete a PGY1 residency and if I find my niche possibly a PGY2.

In my spare time: (Which there hasn't been a lot of since Rx school), I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, shopping, and eating out at my favorite restaurants.
