The Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists will be providing space for a Residency Showcase during its 2013 Annual Seminar at the Renaissance Austin Hotel in Austin.  The showcase is scheduled for 8:00–9:30 AM on Saturday, April 27, and will include a light breakfast for participants.

“The Match” will be complete for the upcoming Residency slots – but this is a chance for your first shot at next year’s P4 students. We are expecting approximately 200 students from the State’s 6 colleges of pharmacy to attend our Seminar, and they are very interested in considering Residency programs and are among tomorrow’s best health-system and clinical pharmacists.

We have a panel presentation of residents scheduled during the meeting, but the showcase will present a “hands on” opportunity for you and them to talk specifics about what your program has to offer. Our programs the past 2 years have been a resounding success with attendees, and students are already excited about visiting with "real, live programs" this year!

And it won’t cost you an arm and a leg, either.

We’re asking for $250 per program, which will provide you a table top display area and access for 4 members of your team to meet with students that morning. This will help cover the cost of the facility and breakfast.
